The fact that they let us cancel our stay.
There was no pool like advertised on their website, it was in the middle of nowhere, the tv didnt work properly, there was constant building going on.

Legian Guest House was easily the nicest room we stayed at in Bali. The room was classy, immaculately clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was the best we had over there (excellent pressure and very hot). The room also offered additional things for comfort (such as hair dryers, new toothbrushes, tea and coffee making facilities, electrical adaptors, etc). There is a safe in the room, pay tv (with many western channels) and a refreshing pool. The sheets felt really lush and the bed was divine to sleep in ~ really enjoyed sinking into it after some night spent in a not as nice hotel. Really enjoyed spending our last night in Bali there, felt as classy as the hotels back in Australia. (apart from the location) I was really impressed how nice/comfortable it was, actually. Especially for paying only $59US a night, it easily rivals some of the nicer hotels in Bali.
The website said "walking distance to Waterbom" which gave the impression to me you could casually walk to the main centre in Kuta. It took us 40 minutes by taxi to get to the Waterbom area (traffic jam traffic). The hotel is on some back roads which are dirt and heavily potholed. Because it had been raining, we couldn't walk through the puddles/mud to get out to the main road. It was annoying as I had wanted a hotel closer to the beach/markets and you really did need to get a taxi to go anywhere. Apart from being an awkward distance from things, it was the nicest hotel we stayed at. Recommended if you want to relax in a quieter setting and don't mind travelling a little to get to the beach.

Very friendly stuff and patient.
Small pool and the pool doesn´t have sunlounchers! A bit far from the beach; 20-25 min to walk but easy to find; during the night doesn´t have lights.

Firstly the staff there is excellent. Very friendly and warm. Felt like home. Although it is a little tricky to find that place if you arent familiar with the streets of bali once your there...every need is taken care off. The hotel is beautiful, asthetically and in every other way. We didnt feel like leaving the place at all. Kudos to the Legian guest house!
Theres nothing much I Didnt like there..although the food can be improved a little quality wise. And they dont have too much variety on their menu...i think thats one thing that would help.
